Bud Welch:
Biographical Information
Bud has been the owner of a Texaco service station in Oklahoma City since 1965.
On April 19, 1995, his only daughter, Julie, was killed in the Oklahoma City bombing. As he worked through his rage and revenge, he came to terms with his daughter's death, remembering that she once told him she was opposed to the death penalty. He has become an outspoken opponent of the death penalty, has testified before Congress and in various state capitals, made numerous radio and TV appearances, and met personally with the father of Timothy McVeigh.

Bud has spoken against the death penalty all over the U.S. and in Bermuda, France, England and Belgium. He served with a team of persons counseling/talking to survivors of the embassy bombing in Kenya.
